International law firm Simmons & Simmons has announced that Katja Ullrich-North has joined the firm as a partner and Director of Knowledge Management.
Moving into a newly created role, Katja will drive the firmwide strategy for knowledge management including how Simmons captures and shares information both within the firm and with its clients.
Katja’s appointment highlights the growing importance placed by the firm on managing its knowledge assets to support its lawyers and business functions in delivering excellent service to clients.
Katja joins Simmons with more than 20 years of experience as both a lawyer and knowledge management professional, having held senior positions at other international law firms as well as operating in-house.
