Latham & Watkins is pleased to announce that Tania Bedi has joined the London office as a partner in the Banking Practice. Highly regarded in her field, Bedi’s practice focuses on international bank and debt financing matters, with a particular emphasis on leveraged buyouts, acquisition finance, telecoms finance, bridge-to-bond financing, and general banking transactions.

“We are delighted to welcome Tania to the firm,” said Stephen Kensell, Office Managing Partner of Latham & Watkins’ London office. “Tania brings a wealth of experience to the practice and she will add significant depth to our multi-disciplinary team. Her reputation further consolidates our position in London and Europe in banking, acquisition finance, and structured transactions work.”

Bedi is widely known for her expertise and track record working on complex, cross-border transactions, including advising leading corporate borrowers, private equity sponsors, and lenders on some of the market’s most significant syndicated, bilateral, secured and unsecured financings.

Bedi received her BA from the University of Delhi, and a BA (Tripos) and MA, LLB from Downing College, University of Cambridge. She was formerly a partner at Ropes & Gray.
