We have strengthened our real estate team further with the appointment of David Roberts. David joins after 25 years at Eversheds and will be based in Cambridge, along with his four-strong team who are also coming across with him. They specialise in high-end, London focussed residential development work from site set-up to unit sales and special purpose residential investment vehicle work.
Mills & Reeve was awarded Real Estate Team of the Year at the Legal Business Awards last year following a series of high profile deals, including the sale of Marble Arch Tower W1 for around £79 million to Almacantar; Trinity College Cambridge’s joint venture investment in a long lease portfolio of eleven Tesco stores valued at £440 million; and developing estate management strategies for major mixed use long term development schemes such as Lend Lease’s £1.5 billion regeneration of Elephant & Castle.
Mark Jeffries, Mills & Reeve senior partner, said: “We are delighted to welcome David to the firm. His skills are a great addition to our existing real estate investment team led by Charles Staveley. David’s appointment gives us the scope to build on our client offering in one of our key sectors.”
