Squire Patton Boggs has appointed construction and engineering disputes specialist Ciaran Williams as a partner in its Litigation Practice. He joins the firm from Vinson & Elkins.

With an impressive track record of handling complex, high value international disputes, Ciaran brings experience across a number of construction sectors, including energy and infrastructure, making him a good fit in areas of strategic focus for the firm.”
Mr. Williams is qualified to practice in England and Wales, the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. He has over 15 years’ experience advising on major domestic and international construction projects, with a practice that covers all forms of construction and engineering dispute resolution, including court proceedings, arbitration, adjudication and mediation. Mr. Williams’ expertise includes commercial property, urban redevelopment, tunnel, rail, road, signaling, water treatment, LNG, biomass, petrochemical, maritime and nuclear projects. He has also developed a specialism in digital infrastructure.
Mr. Williams’ hire is part of Squire Patton Boggs’ continued commitment to growing its Litigation and Construction practices. He follows Litigation partners Ellie Pinnells and Victoria Callicott who joined the firm last year, and Construction partners Paul O’Kane, Charlotte Higham and their team who arrived last month.
