Lindsay Morgan, head of real estate for Europe, Middle East and Asia, comments:
“We are seeing growing international appetite for UK real estate projects, and part of Duncan’s role will be to work with our colleagues across the globe to meet this client need.
“Duncan’s experience in working with infrastructure and transport companies, and financial institutions is a great fit with our own industry strengths and will further enhance our offering in these areas.”
David Sinclair, head of the London real estate team, comments:
“In the UK we are seeing an increasing amount of large-scale development and regeneration projects fuelled by the return of development finance and the UK’s long term infrastructure and housing needs; having quality planning experience is a fundamental prerequisite to being able to deliver these projects effectively. Duncan is highly regarded within this market and will be a great addition to the practice.”
Duncan Field comments:
"I am very much looking forward to matching my planning experience with the market leading reputation of Norton Rose Fulbright in real estate and in industry strengths such as energy and transport. With the global reach of the firm and the amount of overseas investment in UK real estate and infrastructure, I see many exciting opportunities ahead."
The Norton Rose Fulbright real estate team has recently advised on a number of landmark matters including the Battersea Power Station redevelopment and the London Gateway port and logistics park development.
