Global legal practice Norton Rose Fulbright has today announced the appointment of Philippe Hameau as a dispute resolution and litigation partner in its Paris office, effective April 28, 2014. Philippe joins from Orrick Rambaud Martel where he is a partner.
Philippe is experienced in banking and commercial litigation, advising both domestic and international companies on crisis management, restructuring and insolvency matters. He also assists creditors and shareholders of distressed companies and has substantial experience in distressed acquisition work.

Aged 53, Philippe Hameau holds a DEA in Private Law from the University of Paris II - Panthéon-Assas (1983) and graduated from the Institut de Droit des Affaires (1983). He is a member of the Paris Bar (1991).
The 2013 Legal 500 directory states that Philippe “is one of the best advisers in his field”, he has also been listed as a leading lawyer in restructuring in France by Chambers and Partners 2013. Philippe’s Supreme Court background gives him exceptional knowledge of the procedural rules of the courts.
