International law firm Perkins Coie continues its London expansion with the appointment of Arnav Joshi as a partner. As an advisor to global technology companies, financial institutions and international think tanks, Arnav joins the firm’s Corporate practice and Technology Transactions & Privacy Law (TTP) practice.
Arnav brings more than 12 years of extensive experience in digital regulation, AI, privacy, data protection, cyber security and tech public policy. His addition further builds Perkins Coie’s capabilities in helping clients navigate U.K. and EU regulatory and cross-border challenges.

In recent years, Arnav has led high-stakes projects covering the EU and U.K. General Data Protection Regulation, EU AI Act, Digital Services Act, Data Act, Digital Markets Act, the Children’s Code, Online Safety Act, and NIS2. He also regularly advises clients on international personal data breaches.

Arnav is a member of the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development’s Expert Group on AI, Data and Privacy, a member of the City of London Law Society's AI Committee, and he chairs techUK's AI and Data Analytics Leadership Committee. He regularly writes and speaks on the subject of technology governance and law and has testified before the U.K. Parliament on AI regulation.
Arnav joins Perkins Coie from Clifford Chance. He received his L.L.B. from GGS Indraprastha University in India and his M.Sc. in Data and Society from The London School of Economics and Political Science.
