A year after launching its presence in The Netherlands, multinational law firm Pinsent Masons has appointed its fifth partner in Amsterdam, welcoming life sciences patent specialist Judith Krens.

Joining the firm’s European life sciences team, and further strengthening its Netherlands-based technology, science and industry capabilities, Judith is both Dutch and US qualified and has vast experience acting on multijurisdictional matters – particularly for pharma and biological companies.

Recognised by Managing Intellectual Property as being in the Top 250 Women in IP globally, Judith is also the co-founder and board member of the Female Intellectual Property Experts – a women’s network for intellectual property professionals.

With a degree in chemistry and law, Judith joins a full-service team where many hold relevant scientific qualifications and degrees, including in genetics, medicinal chemistry, human biology, and biochemistry – testament to the in-depth sector focus of the firm.
