Leading international law firm Proskauer is pleased to welcome William (Bill) MacGregor as a Registered Funds partner in its Investment Management practice. Bill brings his experience over the past two decades as an Investment Company Act attorney within the registered funds industry to Proskauer. He will be based in the Firm’s New York office.

Bill joins from Equitable Investment Management Group, where he served as Executive Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, leading a team responsible for providing legal and compliance services to three registered investment company complexes and a Cayman domiciled offshore fund complex.

Prior to Equitable, Bill held roles in big law and in-house at firms such as UBS Asset Management and AXA Equitable Funds Management Group. He received his B.S. from King’s College and his J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. He has a LL.M. from Fordham University School of Law.
