Squire Patton Boggs is pleased to announce the addition of principal Richmond “Rick” Flowers into the firm’s global Real Estate Practice resident in Tampa, Florida. He joins from Burr & Forman LLP, where he served as a partner in the firm’s Real Estate Practice Group.
“Rick is well known in real estate circles across Florida and brings a proven track record of getting deals done across a broad spectrum of transactions,” said global board member and Tampa managing partner Stacy Krumin. “We are delighted to welcome him to the firm.”
Mr. Flowers focuses his practice on commercial real estate transactions, representing clients in real estate acquisitions and dispositions, real estate financing, land use and zoning matters, easement disputes, title insurance, commercial retail leasing, condominium formations and conversions, and landlord and tenant matters. He routinely represents financial institutions in documenting, negotiating, and closing real estate and asset-based loans. Mr. Flowers also litigates real estate-related disputes, breach of contract matters, creditors’ rights cases, and foreclosure and eviction proceedings.

Mr. Flowers earned his JD from Stetson University Law School and his BSBA from the University of Florida. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Russell Foundation.
