Four attorneys who are well-established leaders in their fields have joined Ropes & Gray. Filko Prugo

Mr. Prugo joined the New York office in February, as partner and chair of the firm’s life sciences intellectual property litigation practice. Renowned for his understanding of life sciences patent issues, Mr. Prugo is a first-chair litigator and a nationally recognized practitioner of Hatch-Waxman Act and Biologics Price Competition and Innovation Act (BPCIA) matters.

Judith Seddon

Ms. Seddon was appointed co-lead of the firm’s London anti-corruption and international risk practice in January. She is widely recognized as one of the U.K.’s leading financial crime lawyers, focusing on all areas of national and international white-collar crime, fraud, corruption, and regulatory and criminal investigations and prosecutions.

Ama Adams

Ms. Adams joined the litigation & enforcement practice in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office in November. Her deep experience navigating U.S. trade relations has significantly expanded the firm’s anti-corruption and international risk capabilities. Her practice focuses on international transactions and the U.S. government’s regulation of trade and global investment.

Scott McKeown

Mr. McKeown joined Ropes & Gray in August 2017 as a partner in the firm’s Washington, D.C. office and chair of the firm’s Patent Trial and Appeal Board practice. Named a leading patent practitioner for post-grant proceedings by Intellectual Asset Management, Mr. McKeown focuses on post-grant patent counseling and litigation matters at the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, and related appeals to the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit.
