12 Jan 2015

Setterwalls warmly welcomes Niklas Svantesson as a new partner to the law firm. By this recruitment Setterwalls strengthens its position in the area of real estate law. Niklas comes from Mannheimer Swartling where he has been since 2006.

Niklas started at Setterwalls on 1 January 2015 and is a new partner and active in the real estate group where he will focus on real estate transactions and commercial real estate law.

- We are delighted to welcome Niklas to us. Niklas strengthens our already successful real estate team and the recruitment is in line with our ambition to further strengthen our competitiveness in the real estate market, says Åsa Erlandsson, CEO of Setterwalls.

Assur Badur, partner and head of the real estate group at Setterwalls in Stockholm, continues:

- Niklas works primarily with real estate transactions. He is specialized in the purchase and sale of properties and property portfolios. Niklas’ work, however, is of broader nature and he is also proficient in the general commercial real estate law. He has also worked as a corporate lawyer at Akelius, one of Sweden's largest private property companies. Niklas is a welcome reinforcement to the group.
- Setterwalls has a strong real estate team that I have come in contact with under various contexts and the team has high ambitions to grow in real estate law with a strong focus on commercial real estate transactions. These are important reasons for me to join Setterwalls, says Niklas Svantesson.
