International law firm Simmons & Simmons has bolstered its private equity real estate and real estate finance offering by hiring partner Danielle Hirsch in its London office.
Joining from the London office of a US law firm, Danielle brings a formidable track record working on high-end, multi-jurisdictional real estate transactions for some of the most influential clients in the UK and European market.
A highly versatile lawyer, she has over 20 years’ experience working on a broad spectrum of real estate transactions, including direct and indirect acquisitions, loan origination, CMBS transactions, and complex restructurings.
Having previously worked together in a team at the same former firm, Danielle will support partner Oliver s’Jacob in Simmons’ private equity real estate team, as it continues to expand.
Danielle also brings significant experience in real estate finance (REF), and will provide further depth to Simmons’ REF practice, working with partners John Kelsey and Caroline Turner-Inskip.
Commenting on the hire, Oliver s’Jacob, head of the firm’s private equity real estate team, said: “Danielle is an exceptional real estate transactions lawyer, with wide experience working for leading institutional clients and advising on high-profile cross-border deals. Her deep private equity real estate expertise will immediately boost our growing offering, and she will also provide first-rate support to our REF and mainstream real estate teams.”
On joining Simmons, Danielle Hirsch commented: “Simmons has an impressive platform, with a wide international reach, breadth of expertise and full service offering. The firm is a great fit for my practice and network, and I’m looking forward to providing my expertise across real estate transactions to generate new opportunities for its private equity real estate and REF teams.”
