International law firm Simmons & Simmons has announced the strengthening of its Real Estate department in Milan with the arrival of a new team composed of Emanuela Molinaro, who joins as a partner, together with supervising associates Enrico Stefanelli and Christian Turotti, lawyers Francesca Giammarino and Luca Cordischi, and Luigi Toscano.

Emanuela Molinaro brings significant and consolidated experience to the firm, gained in around 20 years of advising on real estate and corporate transactions.

Her expertise centres around real estate acquisitions and development, single assets and complex portfolios, as well as the structuring of investment funds and development joint ventures. Emanuela also assists institutional and non-institutional investors – both Italian and international – in real estate investments and developments in Italy, and in sale and lease back transactions on commercial properties.

The arrival of Emanuela and her team underlines the strategic importance of Simmons’s Real Estate practice in its Italian operations, which can now count on 2 partners, 1 of counsel and 13 professionals in total. The new partner hire adds to its other teams of Administrative Law, led by partner Mauro Pisapia; Real Estate Banking, with partners Davide D'Affronto and Nicholas Lasagna; Tax with partner Marco Palanca; Fund Formation with Andrea Tonon, and Real Estate Litigation with Francesco Nicora.
