James has established an impressive track record in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity and venture capital. He has advised on a significant number of capital markets transactions over the past year.

Prior to joining Simpson Grierson, James worked at Slaughter and May in London and as in-house counsel to Balderton Capital, a leading European venture capital fund.
