Dentons announces that Stephen Lawson has joined the Firm's Public Policy practice based in Dentons' Atlanta office, where he will lead the Firm's public affairs efforts.

Lawson brings extensive experience in public affairs, strategic communications and public policy, with a proven track record representing corporate, nonprofit, advocacy and governmental clients at some of the highest levels. His experience spans governmental policy, crisis communications, media relations and strategic messaging for Fortune 500 companies, elected officials, trade associations and issue-based clients. With notable roles serving prominent figures in Florida and Georgia, including Governor and now US Senator Rick Scott, Governor Ron DeSantis, US Senator Kelly Loeffler, Georgia Agriculture Commissioner Tyler Harper, Georgia Lieutenant Governor Burt Jones and most recently Georgia Speaker of the House Jon Burns, Lawson's career bridges government, politics and communications. Most recently, he served as president of Full Focus Communications, a full-service public affairs firm handling corporate and advocacy clients.
