Pinsent Masons has advised Andy Hosking and Sean Bucknall of Quantuma, the joint administrators of Burroughs Day, on Burroughs Day’s pre-pack sale to Metcalfes Solicitors.

Burroughs Day, a 190-year old Bristol law practice, called in administrators after financial difficulties meant its management could no longer keep the business running successfully. An immediate pre-pack administration sale was completed of the whole business  to city rival Metcalfes Solicitors.

The Pinsent Masons team advising Andy Hosking and Sean Bucknall of Quantuma, was led by Restructuring partner Steven Cottee alongside James Hillman, Carl Scott and Bhal Mander.
