International law firm Pinsent Masons is advising Fenner PLC, a world leading engineering firm based in Hessle, Yorkshire, on a recommended cash offer by Michelin, the global leader in tyre manufacturing.

The offer values the shares of Fenner at approximately £1.2bn on a fully diluted basis.

Fenner has successfully established itself as a world leader in reinforced polymer technology. Its two divisions, Advanced Engineered Products and Engineered Conveyor Solutions, comprise businesses which have developed strong positions in their chosen markets across the world.

The Pinsent Masons team was led by corporate partners Andrew Black and Rob Hutchings. Jacqui Timmins and Alan Davis led on pensions and competition law matters, respectively. Chrissy Findlay, James Kaye, Suzannah Crookes, Adam Cain, Megan Thurman, Josh Willis, Anna Mee, Alasdair Weir and Jon Fisher also worked on the transaction.
