Pinsent Masons has advised Tracscare on its acquisition of Your Lifestyle, a supported living and residential provider for adults with learning disabilities and mental health needs.

With over 30 years’ of experience in providing specialist support and over 80 services across England and Wales, Tracscare delivers specialist support for people with Autism, Learning Disabilities, Mental Health needs and Acquired Brain Injuries. Tracscare provide a complete care pathway from therapeutic settings with clinical teams on site to registered residential care and supported living in the community.

Your Lifestyle operate services across Gloucester, Bristol and Swindon, and the move supports Tracscare’s vision of supporting people throughout their care pathway, from locked rehabilitation through to supported living in their local community.

Advising on the deal was partner and healthcare sector specialist, Joanne Ellis, supported by associates, Daniel Braithwaite, Lisa Early and Ruth Stead, and solicitor David Juckes.

Joanne Ellis, partner at Pinsent Masons, said: “Tracscare is a long standing client who values our specialism in the healthcare sector. They have a clear growth plan and we’re delighted to have been an ongoing part of that.”

We look forward to working with Your Lifestyle’s dedicated team and sharing best practice across the newly expanded Group, in line with our focus on flexible, transparent support and market leading outcomes.”

Your Lifestyle is the latest of a number of acquisitions that Tracscare has made in recent years, as it seeks to work with operators that share its values and commitment to quality. In 2015, Tracscare acquired Brookdale Care, a specialist therapeutic and residential care provider for individuals with Autism and Mental Health needs, and grew further last year with the acquisition of specialist Acquired Brain Injury care provider New Bridges. Tracscare also acquired the Embrace supported living division in January this year.
