Abeking & Rasmussen Schiffs- und Yachtwerft Aktiengesellschaft, located in Lemwerder, has assumed the legal form of a Societas Europaea (SE). The formation of the SE was carried out by the merger of an Austrian subsidiary stock corporation of the Abeking & Rasmussen Aktiengesellschaft.

The general meetings of Abeking & Rasmussen Schiffs- und Yachtwerft Aktiengesellschaft and the Austrian subsidiary already approved the merger in July 2015. On the basis of the certificates of legality of the merger under Austrian and German law, and after completion of the employee participation procedure, Abeking & Rasmussen Schiffs- und Yachtwerft SE became effective upon its entry into the commercial register on March 7, 2016.
