The insolvency administrator Michael Pluta from PLUTA Rechtsanwalts GmbH succeeded in finding a buyer for the plastering company Beck located in Bopfingen. The buyer of the company is Franz Traub GmbH & Co. KG from Aalen. All 15 members of staff will be kept on. The acquisition will be effective from 1 July 2015. It has been agreed that the purchase price will not be published.

For many years, the plastering company Beck has been an expert company for decoration and tile-laying work, for sound insulation and fire safety measures as well as for the restoration of buildings and churches. The company was founded in 1949. Owing to financial difficulties Beck had to file for insolvency at the end of March 2015. Since then, the restructuring expert Michael Pluta has been continuing to run this traditional company. All of the contracts have been completed, and no contract for building work was cancelled by a client. The PLUTA team includes Michael Pluta and Michael Wahl from Ulm.

Mr. Pluta explained “During the insolvency, we were able to maintain all business operations and continue all of the contracts as planned. This was the decisive aspect in ensuring that a long-term solution was possible, namely to find a buyer for the company.” The efforts made in the past few months have been worthwhile. “The sale of the company is the best result for everyone involved,” said the restructuring expert Mr. Pluta.

By taking over the plastering company Beck, Franz Traub GmbH & Co. KG has increased its range of services. This company from Aalen has over 450 employees and has specialised in civil engineering and building work as well as turnkey construction. The Traub group also has a plant for prefabricated reinforced concrete parts with its own technical office.

“With this takeover we can further continue our growth course. In the field of turnkey building the plastering company Beck ideally complements our existing range of services. We can see great potential here,” said the managing director Franz Traub.
