Roschier represented Guy Hands in the acquisition of McDonald's Nordic operations, consisting of local operating companies in Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland, from McDonald's represented by Baker McKenzie. The parties have signed a share sale and purchase agreement and agreed on the Master Franchise Agreement. Mr. Hands will become the Development Licensee for the Nordic markets.

There are approximately 435 McDonald's restaurants in the Nordics.

The deal is expected to close around the end of Q1 2017.
