Roschier represented KKR, a leading global investor, in its acquisition of a 50% stake in Välinge, a Swedish industrial R&D company founded and owned by the Perván family. At the time of the acquisition, Välinge holds around 1,300 patents, and has expanded its IP portfolio significantly over the past five years, with over 12,000 applications in the pipeline. The company is based in Viken, Sweden, and boasts a state-of-the-art research facility. KKR is partnering with the Perván family to further grow Välinge into a world leading R&D and IP provider in its respective business segments.
