Slaughter and May is advising RSA in connection with its proposed rights issue to raise approximately £775 million and entry into a standby underwriting agreement.

On 27 February 2014 RSA announced a proposed rights issue with its preliminary results and new strategic action plan. The proposed rights issue, which has been fully underwitten on a standby basis, represents c.20% of the market value of RSA as at 26 February 2014.
