Paul Hastings, a leading global law firm, announced today that the firm advised Sansei Technologies, Inc. (“Sansei Technologies”), an Osaka-based public company engaged in the design, manufacture, repair and maintenance of amusement rides, stage equipment and elevators, on its 100% acquisition of leading global roller coaster manufacturer Vekoma Rides B.V. (“Vekoma”).

Headquartered in the Vlodrop, Netherlands, Vekoma is a manufacturer of roller coasters recognized for its innovative designs and high quality. The transaction will see Sansei Technologies increase its global presence in the field of designing, supplying and installing roller coasters.

Paul Hastings advised Sansei Technologies on another transaction in July 2012, when it acquired a stake in U.S. amusement ride and rollercoaster manufacturer S&S Worldwide in Utah, U.S.A.
