As sole German team, the Part-Time-Scientists GmbH (“PTS”) takes part in the “Google Lunar XPrize” competition. In this competition, prizes carrying a total value of over USD 30 Million are up for grabs. The challenge is to develop a privately funded Moon Rover and to send it to the moon, where it has to complete specific tasks on the lunar surface. The Rover developed by PTS is set to land on the moon until the end of 2017. In the course of the project, PTS sought to agree on a cooperation with Audi regarding a sponsorship by the latter. A team of Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz around Dr. Thomas Nägele and Dr. Simon Apel advised PTS during the negotiations with Audi. The cooperation between PTS and Audi was announced publicly at the “Lions Innovation”-event during the renowned “Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity”. Schilling, Zutt & Anschütz would like to congratulate PTS very sincerely and wishes PTS continued success in the further competition.
