Simmons & Simmons Advises Oakley Capital on the Sale of Emesa Group to Cyrte Investments

Simmons & Simmons advises Oakley Capital on the sale of the Emesa Group to Dasym funds, managed by Cyrte Investments, for an enterprise value of €95m. Completion of the transaction is conditional and will be finalised after obtaining all the regulatory approvals.

Oakley Capital Private Equity L.P. is a mid-market private equity fund with over €280m of committed capital, investing in the UK and Western Europe. Oakley Capital invested in the Emesa Group in March 2011, further strengthening its position in the Netherlands and establishing operations in Germany. The Emesa Group is a leading online consumer auction platform in the European leisure industry.

The Simmons & Simmons team was led by Corporate partner Leo Verhoeff, assisted by Jacoline Gortzak, Robbert Jansen, Peter Flipsen, Wiet Crobach, Laurens Kamp, Robin van Driel and Oscar Hoefnagels. Simmons & Simmons has acted for Oakley Capital in various acquisitions since 2006.
