Simpson Thacher Represents Initial Purchasers in €400 Million Notes Offering by Salt

Simpson Thacher represented Credit Suisse Securities (Europe) Limited, BNP Paribas, Goldman Sachs International, J.P. Morgan Securities plc, Natixis and Société Générale, as initial purchasers, in connection with a Rule 144A and Regulation S offering of €400 million in aggregate principal amount of 4.00% Senior Secured Notes due 2027 by Matterhorn Telecom S.A., the parent of Salt Mobile S.A. (“Salt”). The transaction closed on November 27, 2017. The net proceeds from the offering, together with cash on balance sheet, were used to redeem part of the Floating Rate Senior Secured Notes that were issued by Matterhorn Telecom S.A. on March 16, 2017.

Salt is one of the three major nationwide mobile network operators in Switzerland.
