Slaughter and May advised - Golden Throat on its Hong Kong IPO

Slaughter and May, Hong Kong, advised Golden Throat Holdings Group Company Limited (Golden Throat) on its initial public offering and listing on the Main Board of the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Golden Throat raised approximately HK$764.7 million (before the exercise of over-allotment option) through the IPO. Credit Suisse (Hong Kong) Limited acted as the sole sponsor, sole global coordinator, sole bookrunner and sole lead manager.

This was Slaughter and May's first combined Hong Kong and US law IPO since the appointment of US partner John Moore, a highly experienced US securities lawyer who leads our newly-established US securities law team. Slaughter and May is able to provide a seamless Hong Kong, English and US law capability for capital markets transactions in Hong Kong.

Golden Throat is a leading manufacturer of lozenges and a household name in China. It has the largest share in China's lozenges market in terms of retail sales value in 2014.

Dealing in the shares of Golden Throat on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange commenced on 15 July 2015.
