Squire Patton Boggs Advises Owens Corning on Wind Energy Purchases

16 Nov 2015

Squire Patton Boggs has advised Owens Corning, the global producer of insulation, roofing and fiberglass composites, in executing wind energy supply agreements in connection with newly installed wind energy capacity.

In announcing these transactions, Owens Corning noted that they represent “the largest wind power agreements reported by an industrial company in the world.” They also support Owens Corning’s pledge to meet its ambitious 2020 sustainability goals, and will significantly reduce the company’s carbon emission footprint.

The Squire Patton Boggs team that advised Owens Corning in connection with these agreements was led by Washington DC energy partner Paul O’Hop and Dallas finance and energy partner Michael Cuda.
