Law firm Stephenson Harwood LLP has advised the UK management team of Fitness First on the sale of its UK fitness clubs.

The global group, which opened its first fitness club in the UK in Bournemouth in 1993 and now has clubs in 16 countries around the world, is selling all 65 of its UK fitness clubs to DW Sports, the parent company of DW Fitness Clubs.

The Stephenson Harwood team was led by senior associate Guy Morgan together with partner Ben Mercer and included associates Natalie Edwards (employment), Alex Rush (pensions), Chloe Hayward (IT) and Stewart Scott (real estate).
