Swedish Match AB, a market leader within the product areas snus and moist snuff as well as other tobacco products, has announced the acquisition of the Danish snuff producer V2 Tobacco.
V2 Tobacco fits very well as a complement to Swedish Match. Its modern and adaptable production allows Swedish Match improved flexibility and expanded opportunities to adapt to changing consumer desires, helping Swedish Match move further toward its vision of a world without cigarettes. In the transaction, Swedish Match will acquire 100 percent of the shares in V2 Tobacco.
