Skadden advised Synagro Technologies, Inc. in its acquisition by EQT Infrastructure II, announced on August 22. The deal completes Synagro's refinancing under a comprehensive reorganization plan that was approved with the full support of Synagro’s creditors via the Chapter 11 process. Working with its creditors and backed by EQT Infrastructure II, Synagro has completely restructured its balance sheet, including an approximate $200 million reduction in outstanding debt.
