Taylor Wessing has advised Neul, the company that makes the radio modules that allow communication between devices, on its recent acquisition by Huawei, the global ICT solutions provider, the agreement reinforcing Cambridge's status as a leading global technology hub.
Based in Cambridge, Neul is a specialist in machine-to-machine communications, developing and supplying the technology that allows network operators to provide a scalable, low power network service to connect devices to their online digital presence in the Cloud. Taylor Wessing has advised Neul since inception, including on fundraisings from DFJ Esprit, IQ Capital Partners and Cambridge Business Angels.
Adrian Rainey, partner in Taylor Wessing's Cambridge office, which works extensively with the city's technology industry, led the deal.
