WHEB Partners’ Growth Fund 2 and Dr. Jan Verdenhalven acquired each 100% of the shares in Dolan GmbH (Dolan), Kelheim and European Carbon Fiber GmbH (ECF), Kelheim from Lenzing AG, Lenzing/Austria and Kelheim Fibers GmbH, Kelheim. Dolan and ECF share production facilities in Kelheim in Southern Germany.
Dolan produces high quality acrylic based specialty fibers used for textiles, convertible car tops, sunshades, garden furniture and protective clothing. It has approx. 100 employees. Dolan’s 2014 revenue was 57.5 million Euros. ECF produces precursor for the carbon fiber industry. Its 2014 revenue was 10.4 million Euros.
