Paul, Weiss advised an affiliate of China media and internet conglomerate Tencent in its Series H preferred stock investment in Smule, Inc. Smule is a U.S.-based social media music company and developer. Tencent joined Adams Street Partners and Bessemer Ventures, among others, in the $54 million financing round.
