Thommessen acted in the establishment and IPO of Skandiabanken ASA.

Skandiabanken ASA is a Norwegian pure digital bank that offers a comprehensive range of financial products and services to individuals and households in Norway within payments and card services, deposit-based savings, investment products, long-term loans and short-term loans. The bank has no branches and all products and services are offered directly through the digital platform which is available on a broad range of user devices.

Skandiabanken ASA was listed on the Oslo Stock Exchange on 2 November 2015. The company was valued at approximately NOK 4.9 billion and shares for an amount of approximately NOK 3,945 million were sold in the IPO (including over-allotted shares).

Thommessen assisted in the establishment of Skandiabanken ASA and its subsidiary Skandiabanken Boligkreditt AS as independent entities licensed by the Norwegian FSA, in the transfer of business and funding from Skandiabanken AB to Skandiabanken ASA, raising of additional funding and in the subsequent listing of Skandiabanken ASA. Managers for the IPO were Carnegie, SEB and DNB Markets. Thommessen’s team was headed by Hans Cappelen Arnesen and Tore Mydske.
