Travers Smith advised Cenkos Securities on the £106m AIM IPO of Mercia Technologies plc.  The Travers Smith team was led by corporate finance partner, Anthony Foster, supported by corporate associate, Jenni Harley.

Mercia is a Midlands based leader in the funding and commercialisation of technology businesses in the UK.   Mercia’s business is the creation, funding and development of technology businesses nationally with an emphasis in the Midlands and the North of the UK. Mercia has a well seeded portfolio and pipeline of investments, having direct investment in 11 operating companies and access to a portfolio of 38 businesses through its third party fund.

Admission and the commencement of dealings on the AIM market of the London Stock Exchange is expected to take place on 18 December 2014.
