Trowers & Hamlins advises on acquisition of Diamond and Alaa food brands in the Middle East

Trowers & Hamlins' Oman, Dubai and London offices has advised Matrah Cold Stores LLC, an Oman-incorporated distribution company trading as Enhance, on its acquisition of the Middle East-wide Diamond and Alaa packaged foods brands in eleven Middle Eastern countries.

Enhance has acquired the intellectual property of the Diamond and Alaa brands, together with the associated Middle East supply and distribution networks and stock from Food Specialities Ltd.  Enhance has secured rights to the brands across eleven Middle Eastern countries, including Yemen, Syria, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, UAE, Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon, Jordan, and Kuwait.  Trowers & Hamlins provided legal advice on the acquisition and is assisting with the transfer of trade marks in each of these jurisdictions. 

Enhance UAE provides brand distribution solutions across all retail channels in the UAE, representing brands such as Al Rifai, Storck, Nirapara, Guylian, Dilmah ,Sultan, Vita Milk and others.
