Trowers & Hamlins has acted for new client Capital Trust Limited on the acquisition of the Holiday Inn Express, Cheltenham, by one of the client's group companies, PCH Cheltenham Limited, together with majority investors Lumina Real Estate Capital.

Capital Trust's prime role was to act as corporate finance advisor on the acquisition.

The acquisition involved the purchase of a UK registered target company from two individual sellers, together with renewing operator arrangements with leading hotels operator Redefine BDL, and new financing arrangements with RBS International.

Youssef Boulos and Ayda Habboush in Corporate led the deal, with Sarah Gooden and Eddie O'Hanrahan leading the Banking and Finance team and William Clements and Andrew Howson leading the Real Estate team.
