Trowers & Hamlins has been engaged by its long-standing client, Ithmaar Development Company (IDC), to prepare a suite of documentation for two sections of the Dilmunia Health Island report in Bahrain – the Seavillas at Dilmunia and the Dilmunia Residences.
The firm is advising on the drafting of the sale documentation for the 32 seafront villas forming the part of the Seavillas at Dilmunia. The villas are planned for construction in the next 18 months. Trowers prepared the documentation for the design and development of the villas by IDC as development manager and Health Island B.S.C. (c), which is the owner of the development.
The villas have been in high demand and sold out within three days of becoming available for public sale in June 2013. Uniquely, prior to their official launch IDC has market tested the sale documentation produced to gauge prospective buyers' feedback on key sections.
Trowers & Hamlins also prepared sale documentation for the Dilmunia Residences. These properties are to be sold as land parcels with the design and construction of the villas to be completed by their buyers within the next three years.
Both these developments are part of the wider US$1.6 billion mixed-use project of the Dilmunia Health Island, which will include residences, hotels, leisure and shopping districts, and provide residents and visitors with wellness facilities and spas in a state-of-the-art resort-type environment.
