We were legal counsel to the United Bankers Plc group in an arrangement in which UB’s subsidiary UB Asset Management Ltd acquired a majority stake in Quorum Lainoittaja Oy. UB purchased 60 % of the outstanding share capital of Quorum Lainoittaja Oy from Quorum Vaihtoehtorahastot Oy. Quorum Lainoittaja Oy is the general partner in Quorum Yritysrahoitusrahasto I Ky l fund. Following the acquisition, the company’s name will be changed to UB Yritysrahoitus Oy and the fund’s name to UB Yritysrahoitusrahasto I Ky. The C&S team was led by Jarno Tanhuanpää.

United Bankers is a Finnish investment group established in 1986. The group’s services include asset man-agement, fund management, securities brokering and investment banking. The group manages a total of approximately 1.7 billion euros (6/2015). The Company has been listed on First North Finland since November 2014.
