Jones Day represented VasoNova and its parent company, Teleflex, Inc., in a trade secret, misappropriation, and IP ownership dispute with a founder of the company. VasoNova develops and markets innovative vascular navigation systems. The dispute arose over the ownership of catheter technology that allows doctors to position catheters without the need for an X-ray. The matter involved both an arbitration and Federal District Court litigation, eventually leading to a settlement.
