Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Acciaieria Arvedi S.p.A. on a €240 million term credit facility to refinance its existing indebtedness.
The financing has been granted by the holding company Finarvedi S.p.A. and by Siderurgica Triestina S.r.l.. The Arvedi Group was founded in 1963 and is one of the most significant European steelmaking businesses.
Banca IMI acted as agent on the transaction; Banca IMI, UniCredit, Banca Popolare di Milano and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena acted as mandated lead arrangers and bookrunners; and Intesa Sanpaolo, UniCredit, Banca Popolare di Milano, Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena, Banca del Mezzogiorno – MedioCredito Centrale, Banca Popolare dell’Emilia Romagna, Cassa di Risparmio di Parma e Piacenza and Unione di Banche Italiane acted as lenders.
