Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Allianz Global Investors on the acquisition of a portfolio of six existing onshore wind farms in France.
Located in the communes of Remise des Bruyères, Saint-Cyr-en-Pail, Raucourt, Vaux les Mouzons, La Haie and Lestrade, the wind farms, which began operating between 2006 and 2009, consist of a total of 30 wind turbines with a collective capacity of 62.1 megawatts. The sellers are special-purpose companies of the DIF Renewable Energy Fund. The buyer is a fund managed by Allianz Global Investors. The purchase price has not been disclosed.
