Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised BNP Paribas, Crédit Agricole Corporate & Investment Bank, Natixis and Société Générale, as mandated lead arrangers and bookruners, on the financing of the acquisition of Vitalia from Vitalia HoldCo by Vedici and its majority shareholder CVC Capital Partners.
Vedici, majority owned by CVC since September 2014, is a leading player in the private hospitals sector in France. The Vitalia acquisition creates a new group that is one of the most prominent players in the French healthcare sector, with 14,000 employees and 3,200 specialists operating in 81 clinics. The group will generate €1.2 billion in sales revenue which represents 12 percent of the private healthcare facility sector in France.
The acquisition was completed on October 30, 2015 and includes the outsourcing of a portion of Vitalia's real estate portfolio to Icade Santé, the real estate subsidiary of Groupe Caisse des Dépots et Consignations.
