White & Case LLP has advised FSN Capital IV on its acquisition of Active Brands AS, a leading Nordic supplier of premium sporting goods brands, from Holta Invest.

"White & Case has been increasingly active in Norway in recent years and this is yet another example of a successful Norwegian transaction on which we've advised," said Stockholm-based White & Case partner Carl Hugo Parment. White & Case advised on the acquisition's financing as well as international due diligence in Sweden, the US, Finland and China.

Holta Invest's existing management and founders will reinvest alongside FSN Capital and continue to own a material stake in the company. Active Brands manages a portfolio of well-established sports apparel and equipment brands, including Kari Traa, Dæhlie, Bula and Sweet Protection.

The White & Case team in Stockholm which advised on the transaction was led by partners Carl Hugo Parment and Johan Steen, with support from associates Michael Bark-Jones, John Gustafson, Katarina Davidsson and Andreas Hallbeck.
