White & Case Advises IK Investment Partners on Acquisition of ZytoService

White & Case LLP has advised IK Investment Partners on the acquisition of ZytoService Group (ZytoService) from its founders and capiton AG, which will continue to hold an interest in the company.

The ZytoService acquisition is supported by the new IK VIII fund and is its first investment in Germany. Financial terms of the deal, which is subject to regulatory approval, have not been disclosed.

IK Investment Partners is a private equity investor, founded 1989 in Sweden, with offices in Hamburg, Paris and Stockholm and a regional focus on the Nordics, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, France and the Benelux countries. It primarily invests in mid-size businesses with strong growth potential to support their development. Since its founding, IK Investment Partners has acquired an interest in more than 100 companies with a total value of more than €7.5 billion.

The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Stefan Koch and included partner Bodo Bender (both Frankfurt), local partners Hendrik Roehricht, Ingrid Wijnmalen (both Frankfurt), Katrin Ruebsamen (Berlin), Sibylle Muench, Daniel Müller (both Frankfurt) and Justus Herrlinger (Hamburg), and associates Tomislav Vrabec, Hugo Leite and Ralph Draeger (all Frankfurt).
