Global law firm White & Case LLP has advised Italiaonline S.p.A. on the sale of its 12.54 business unit, which is active in the directory assistance sector, to Contacta S.p.A.

The sale was carried out to comply with the approval by the Italian Antitrust Authority for the reverse merger between Italiaonline and SEAT Pagine Gialle S.p.A., which became effective on June 20, 2016.

Italiaonline is the Italian market leader in digital advertising for large accounts and local marketing services for small and medium-sized enterprises. Contacta belongs to the Covisan Group and is an Italian company active in the contact center, outsourcing and customer base management sectors.

The White & Case team which advised on the transaction was led by partner Ferigo Foscari, local partner Leonardo Graffi, associate Alessandro Seganfreddo and lawyer Davide Diverio (all Milan).
