Wragge & Co advises NVM Private Equity on management buy-out

Wragge & Co's Private Equity team has advised NVM Private Equity Limited (NVM) on its £5.5 million management buy-out of Kirton Group which manufactures and assembles specialist chairs for people with reduced mobility.

Private equity partner Ian Piggin and corporate director Gareth Baker led the deal with solicitor James Bradshaw, supported by a cross-firm team. This included experts in banking and finance, due diligence, property, employment, tax and pensions. They worked closely with NVM's directors David Rolfe and James Arrowsmith.

The Wragge & Co team also included banking and finance partner Kirsty Barnes and solicitor Edd Hampson. Graham Spalding advised on due diligence, Caroline Frost on property and Nisha Lad on employment. Crispin Freeman led on pensions and Neil Pearson and Paul Harrington advised on tax issues.

In this latest deal Birketts advised the management team and Mills & Reeve advised the sellers.
